Dynamics of energy security and its implications

The chapter begins with the conceptualization of energy security. Then it explains the core components that are required for any country to be energy secure. Energy systems are complicated with its interlinkage with other aspects of economy, and hence there exist trade-off among the core indicators and the perspective for different economies differ. The chapter recommends some policies for energy security.
