Green Deal als »Ende der freien Gesellschaft«? Zur dystopischen Gegenmobilisierung der AfD

Against the project of a (European) Green Deal, the populist right invokes the dystopia of an impending eco-dictatorship. What role does this dystopian figure of thought play in political discourse? For whom is this vision of the future credible? How can criticism of such a fear of the future begin? The contribution approaches these questions from ideology-critical, utopia-theoretical and discourse-analytical perspectives.
